The 2022-2023 school year is up and running smoothly. Our students are excited about learning and teachers are looking to make a difference in the lives of your kids. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:
Attends school daily and arrives by 7:25 A.M.
Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills.
Shares school experiences with you.
Informs you if he/she needs extra supports at school.
Currently teachers and administrators are discussing Milestone and I-Ready scores with all students. We are asking them to bring this information home to you. Please help us by asking your child about their goals and how they plan to meet their goals.
Gladden is a Title I School. Our Title I goal for the school year is to meet or exceed the state percentage of students passing the Georgia Milestones. We will offer multiple opportunities throughout the school year for you to come in and meet with teachers.
Please feel free to contact me, my administrative team, or your child’s teacher(s) if you have any concerns throughout the school year. We are working hard to make Gladden the best middle school around, and we need your help. The wonderful GMS staff and I feel privileged to be a part of this school family. We thank you for your support and look forward to working with you.
